window cleaning:

What does window cleaning cost?

As per industry standard, we charge a set rate per job.  The amount of windows, the heights involved and the difficulty of the job all contribute to the cost. For a standard 4 bedroom single storey house inside & out you can expect to pay between $290-$350 (plus GST). For a double storey 4 bedroom house the price is usually between $390-$550 (plus GST).

To get an exact quote for your job please get in contact with us directly, as the price can differ depending on the specifics of your job.

Extra costs apply for post-construction/renovation cleaning (This requires much more work to remove Paint, Silicone, stickers etc)

Do you clean the tracks when you clean the windows?

Our prices are for cleaning the glass. We do however, wipe the frames and tracks as we go complimentary.

For an in-depth clean of the window tracks, we recommend hiring a general cleaner for this task, as it would need the use of a vacuum cleaner. Vacuuming out the tracks is not part of our service and comes under the umbrella of general cleaning, not glass cleaning.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash or bank transfer. We can email you a tax invoice if you need it, or simply text you the bank details for transfer.

What happens if it rains on the day of my booking?

Don't panic! Unless there is a category 10 tornado, the weather will NOT affect your glass after we clean it, as our methods help your windows to resist rain & dirt. We are so confident in this that we offer 1 week of rain insurance. That means that if for any reason your windows don't stay clean (because of rain) you can call us up to a week afterwards and we will come back and re-clean them free of charge

pressure washing:

Can you pressure wash when its raining?

Unless there is a hail storm or torrential rain we can do any pressure washing job when its raining and it does not affect the quality of work done!

What is pressure washing?

Pressure washing is a method of cleaning surfaces using a high-pressure water spray. It's a highly effective way to remove dirt, grime, mold, mildew, and other contaminants from various surfaces like decks, driveways, sidewalks, siding, and more.

How does pressure washing work?

Pressure washers use a motor or engine to pump water at a high pressure through a hose and nozzle. The high-pressure water stream agitates and dislodges dirt and grime from the surface being cleaned.

What surfaces can be pressure washed?

Pressure washing can be used on a variety of surfaces, including concrete, brick, wood, vinyl, metal, and some types of stone. However, it's important to use the appropriate pressure settings and nozzles to avoid damaging delicate surfaces.

What is soft washing?
Soft washing typically operates at low pressure like a garden hose and does not damage any surface. Soft washing often involves the use of biodegradable, environmentally-friendly cleaning solutions. These solutions are applied to the surface before the low-pressure rinse. They help break down and remove organic growth like algae, moss, and mildew. We are specialists in this field!

gutter cleaning:

How often should I clean my gutters?

It's generally recommended to clean your gutters at least twice a year, typically in the spring and fall. However, if your property is surrounded by many trees or experiences heavy rainfall, more frequent cleaning may be necessary.

Why is gutter cleaning important?

Gutter cleaning is important to prevent clogs and blockages. When gutters are clogged with leaves, debris, and dirt, water can't flow properly. This can lead to water overflow, which can damage your roof, siding, foundation, and landscaping.

Can I clean my gutters myself or should I hire a professional?

You can clean your gutters yourself if you have the necessary tools, equipment, and are comfortable working at heights. However, if you're unsure about your ability to do so safely, or if your property has particularly challenging features (steep roof, multiple stories), it's often safer to hire a professional gutter cleaning service.

solar panel cleaning:

How often should I clean my solar panels?

In most cases, solar panels can benefit from a cleaning about once or twice a year. However, the frequency can vary depending on factors like location, climate, and surrounding environmental conditions. If your panels are in an area with heavy dust, pollen, or bird droppings, more frequent cleaning may be necessary.

Can I clean my solar panels myself or should I hire a professional?

You can clean your solar panels yourself, but we highly recommend hiring a professional who knows how to deal with heights. We also know how to keep your solar panels in warranty by using the correct tools to clean your panels. We also do a wiring check of your solar panels to ensure they are fully operating.

Do dirty solar panels significantly reduce energy production?

Yes, dirty solar panels can reduce energy production. Dust, dirt, bird droppings, and other debris can block sunlight from reaching the solar cells, which can lead to a decrease in energy output. Regular cleaning helps ensure your solar panels operate at their highest efficiency
